That was fast! We got a lot of great feedback on our first Concrete 9.0 release candidate, and noticed a fair number of real issues. In order to best keep this process moving, we thought it'd be best to fast-track our second release candidate. Here it is!

The first release candidate for Concrete CMS 9.0 is now available! This release has been in development for several years, and is our biggest release to date. Read on for more information about what's changed and what you can help with.

concrete5 8.5.5 Release Candidate 1 is now available! We'd like help testing this one, since we'd really love for it to be the last release before version 9! This version of concrete5 fixes some bugs, issues with the theme customizer, some JavaScript console errors, and a bit more.

concrete5 8.5.4 is now available! Sometimes when we do a big release, we have to do another one pretty quickly. This is no exception.

8.5.3 accidentally shipped some new features that aren't quite ready yet. 8.5.4 turns those off, but also makes available a ton of new features that we've had in our development pipeline, including Express search indexing improvements, the ability to export Express objects from the command line, a new custom attribute type of User Group, the ability to set file storage locations at the folder level, and much more.

Time flies! It's been awhile since our last core update. This maintenance release improves concrete5 in a number of subtle ways, and is highly recommended for anyone running concrete5 version 8.

Note: if you recently became unable to edit your concrete5 website with Chrome, this version provides a fix for that. (Additionally, a Chrome update has fixed this as well.)

There are lots of behavioral improvements, security fixes and bug fixes in 8.5.3. For a full list of what's changed, head to the version 8.5.3 changelog page.

concrete5 8.5.2 is now available! It's been about six months since we last did an update – so this one is a big one! No big new features here, but we've fixed a lot of bugs, upgraded some third-party components with known vulnerabilities, and added a lot of heft to some of our internal systems. Check out everything that's new in 8.5.2.

The first maintenance release of 8.5.0 is now available! concrete5 8.5.1 fixes some bugs with bulk user actions introduced in 8.5.0, improves the installation of concrete5 on databases that don't support advanced character sets, fixes some bugs with the new API, and more. It's a minor, maintenance release, and is highly recommended for anyone running 8.5.1.
