Core Releases
We've just released a maintenance version of Concrete CMS for those of you running Concrete CMS 8.5.
We're happy to report that Concrete CMS 9.1.1 is now available!
We are very excited to that Concrete CMS 9.1.0 is now available! 9.1.0 features many improvements, new features and bug fixes, including:
- Much improved compatibility with PHP 8 and PHP 8.1.
- Improved appearance and functionality when editing block, area, layout and container styles inline in the page
- Express improvements like the ability to mark attributes as unique, handle re-use across objects, and much more.
- Much improved version comparison feature that can compare the HTML of two page versions and highlight differences
- Improvements to Dashboard listing screens and the file details screen
Additionally, there are many behavioral improvements, performance improvements, and bug fixes included. The full list is far too large for this blog post. Click here to read all about what's new in version 9.1.0.
9.1.0 has been tested extensively during this release candidate period. It should be a stable upgrade for all sites running 9.0, 9.0.1 or 9.0.2, and it's definitely ready for testing against your 8.5.x sites. If you're running PHP 8 or interested in running it, 9.1.0 is fairly mandatory – the list of PHP 8 fixes is extremely long. Please check it out and let us know what you think!

We're happy to report that Concrete CMS 9.0.2 is now available for download, and features nearly 90 bug fixes and improvements! This version is highly recommended for those running version 9 or 9.0.1. Its fixes and improvements include many translation fixes, many fixes for Concrete running under PHP 8, and much more.
We've just released two maintenance versions of Concrete CMS – version 9.0.1 for those of you running version 9, and 8.5.7 for those on version 8. They both offer behavioral improvements, bug fixes and security fixes, and are highly recommended.
It’s been a long time coming, but we’re very pleased to announce that Concrete CMS version 9 is now available. In development for over three years, Concrete 9 overhauls numerous aspects of the interface, adds new tools for content editors like Containers and Boards, offers a completely rebuilt and reworked file manager, upgrades many third partyJavaScript and PHP libraries shipped with the core, and comes with a new default theme for the first time in seven years.
We're happy to report that Concrete CMS 8.5.6 is now available. Concrete 8.5.6 offers a number of bug fixes, improvements and security updates, and also fixes issues connecting to the Concrete CMS marketplace. It is highly recommended for those of you running Concrete 8.5.
That was fast! We got a lot of great feedback on our first Concrete 9.0 release candidate, and noticed a fair number of real issues. In order to best keep this process moving, we thought it'd be best to fast-track our second release candidate. Here it is!
