We’re excited to announce the release of Concrete CMS 9.4.0RC1! This is a Release Candidate (RC) version, meaning it’s a nearly complete version of 9.4.0, intended for final testing before the full stable release. While this is not a production-ready release, we encourage developers and site administrators to test it and report any issues.

If no major issues arise, we anticipate a full release of 9.4.0 in the coming weeks.

 

New Atomic Theme Enhancements

The Atomik theme now includes five new skins, giving users more design flexibility. Including one with Dark colors Named Midnight Velvet.The Atomik theme has expanded its design flexibility by introducing five new skins, providing users with a wider range of aesthetic choices for their websites.  Notably, one of the new skins, named "Midnight Velvet," features a dark color scheme, appealing to users who prefer a more dramatic and sophisticated look.

Dark Mode for Dashboard & CMS ๐ŸŒ™

By popular demand, dark mode is here! You can now switch between light and dark modes in the CMS. Choose your preferred setting manually or let it match your OS settings for a seamless experience.

You can change these settings under Basics --> Appearance page has been introduced, replacing the Accessibility page. This new hub combines existing Accessibility settings and will serve as a central location for appearance-related configurations in the future.

Built-in Open Graph Support

SEO and social media previews just got a big upgrade! Concrete CMS now includes Open Graph support in the core. Head to the Open Graph Dashboard page to define how your content appears when shared on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Bulk Editing for Pages

Managing large sites just got easier! You can now bulk edit page type, page template, and theme directly from the Dashboard page search interface. This update streamlines content updates, saving time when applying changes across multiple pages.

File Manager: Total Downloads Column

Want to track file engagement? The File Manager now includes a “Total File Downloads” column, making it easy to monitor which files are the most popular.

We encourage the community to test 9.4.0RC1 in a staging environment and report any issues. Your feedback helps ensure a smooth, stable final release.
