We’re excited to announce the release of CMS 9.3.5, featuring new tools, important updates, and key bug fixes to improve your experience.

Behavioral Improvements

  • Branding Updates: Replaced instances of “concrete5” with “Concrete” across the codebase to reflect the current branding.
  • Image Optimization: Added width and height attributes to the Image Block and certain image thumbnails, reducing layout shifts during page load and improving performance.

New Features

File Chooser Options Dashboard: A new Dashboard page has been added where you can configure the default tab of the file chooser, providing more control over file management. 

​​​​​​​Hreflang Support for Multilingual Sites: A new checkbox on the Multilingual Setup page allows enabling the "hreflang" attribute for improved SEO on multilingual websites.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issues when saving Topic and Express attribute types.
  • Resolved reliability issues with Auto-Nav and Express Form blocks when editing or previewing in global areas.
  • The Exclude from Nav attribute checkbox is now translated correctly in multilingual setups.
  • Fixed a bug where the “Schedule” button in the composer page schedule dialog did not function.
  • Corrected behavior in the Top Navigation Bar block, where clicking on items with sub-pages would not navigate as expected.
  • Fixed an issue where the block help dialog wouldn’t display in Firefox.
  • Fixed error when unsetting the form redirect destination.
  • Fixed incorrect variable name in the YouTube block.
  • Fixed typo in DeleteGroupCommandHandler.php.
  • Fixed issue where removing email notifications from the Form Block didn’t work as expected.
  • Fixed the Swagger interactive API console failing to update the page for non-Super Admin users.
  • Fixed a bug in topic attribute export when no value was set.

Developer Updates

  • Added support for Javascript "module" and "importmap" types to the Asset System.
  • Improved the output of the LatestMigrationTest unit test.
  • Various tweaks to API documentation.
  • List pages and view page children API methods now require the canViewPage permission instead of canViewPageInSitemap.
